This is an excellent school with small classes, caring and well trained teachers, and a strong emphasis on math, reading and science. In addition to the basics, children are strongly encouraged and supported in the development of their musical, artistic talents. Excellent creative arts program for all age groups. I was amazed at the oratory skills several of the young men displayed at a school event I attended. Two of them, who identify themselves as future pastors, brought the house down with their oration of Dr. Martin Luther King s I Have a Dream speech. There is something very good happening at that school and everyone in Brooklyn should know about it. The tuition is also very affordable.

I am so happy that my child decided to attend this school. It challenges the students and allows them to think critically and be creative! Although they are expected to complete many projects and they do have a lot of homework, the assignments are appropriate and challenging. Teachers are very supportive of students and will go out of their way to help the students.

My sons's teacher is Ms Ferguson..She is a great teacher..I thought that they didnt have great teachers around like they had when I was a kid in the 70's but its good to know they are teachers who care like her still around!

Metropolitan Corporate Academy (MCA) is a small high school that aims to help all its students prepare for college or any other career/educational goals they may have. The staff and administration are caring and understanding of the students' needs. Students at MCA are treated with respect and are expected to excel at their studies.

Kids there are very nice, there is no popilatity and everyone one fit in as one family, academic levels arent so high, however they have programs to send you to to get your share of help.

My son is in the G& T kindergarden class and has had an absolutely fabulous experience - and he had an amazing experience in an ordinary pre-K classroom as well. His teachers have been loving, dedicated, and very very effective in teaching him how to read! He is happy and engaged - and really enjoys school's arts program. Every day there is some sort of music, dancing, theater, drawing and painting. The school has a brand new garden and a nationally ranked chess program. Everyone is super friendly and nice - we are very glad to be there.

Provides a balanced approach to education and social skills. The school's focus is on community, it seems to me. My child has dance, music, play acting in library while stories are read and swimming as part of her k-grade schedule. She never come home sad.

There are great things happening @ P.S.38 Each & every day!!! Enrichment programs... Movie nights.... Fall harvest....Free afterschool programs...Some of the many interesting things happening all for our children!!! We love P.S.38!
