The teachers at King Street School are very dedicated to each individual student's needs. The Principal is very involved with every aspect of daily student life. The variety of afterschool programs offered target all interests. The PTA does an excellent job of keeping the parents informed of everything that is happened not only at the school but in the community.

I think that Park Ave is a great school. They have a new principal that seems to have good leadership skills. The children are bright and caring and that's because most teachers go above and beyond. The only thing that needs to improve is the main office. The women that work there often seem annoyed and lack personality and charisma.

PCHS is a truly excellent gem of a school that is frequently overlooked by Westchester standards due to it's slightly less impressive score statistics. These averages more accurately reflect the impressive diversity of the school than the lack of educational rigor. The school is one of the only schools in Westchester where students can receive both a quality education and experience a diverse student body. I graduated just a few years ago and went to a top 50 college, as did many in my class. I feel like I was prepared for the real world and the workplace in a way many of my peers at Blind Brook/Rye/Greenwich high schools will never be. I had excellent teachers and highly value the education I received.

My son has been attending Edison School since kindergarten and it has been a wonderful experience for him. He has special needs that don't rise to the level of having him classified as special education and I found that the school has been 100% responsive to his needs. The teachers are incredibly dedicated and work together as a team to held the children succeed. Now that my son is about to graduate, I know that I made the right decision to keep him in public school rather than transfer him to a private one. I do not think that he would have gotton a better education anywhere else. |

I have two children in the school. We moved from another area where the schools were lacking simply because of Blind Brook's reputation. While the community can feel too small at times, the schools do not disappoint. The standards are exceptional and resources abundant. The PTA does an amazing job, and the kids excel. Really has a private school feel to it. Wonderful opportunities fro every child.

I have 2 girls in this school. One 7hty grader and a 8 thy grader. We came to Blind Brook 2 years ago and we have not looked back. This is an excellent school with excelllent academics. Parenta re highly involve and because of the size of the school (small by public school standards), new kids are easily welcomed. A great experience so far. |
