this school is one of the greatest in the city, my child went from D average to B average, the teachers, as well as the administration make the parents and children feel at home everyone is known on a first name basis. i recommend this shool to everyone.

Exceptional leadership and encouragement by Dr. Sayegh and Mrs. Wyatt. Faculty is outstanding and all work for the common good of all students. Self-esteem is constantly encouraged by motivational programs. Can't say enough good things about PS13.

Hostos is a great place to learn. It creates a mini world. Hostos has a bank, newspaper, court, legislators, and many fun things that children learn about. Hostos is like its own world for the children and creates a great learning experience. I would recomend Hostos to anyone who wants a taste of the world in their elementry school.

Great school so far. My son started Pre-K this year and he has learned a lot for the first month at School 21. I am impressed with the teacher and the assistant's teaching skills. They both have a way to have the kids interact and grasp what they are learning. My son is doing well.

My son has been attending this school from Pre-K till 4th Grade ! He loves his teachers, adores his classmates and enjoys his classes. The teachers are very involved with the academic record of the students. The Principal has maintained a decorum of discipline in this school. I hope this school receives the funding to achieve the academic excellence it maintains and strives for. The uniqueness of this school is the Montessori system in a public school setting and the student teacher ratio is far better than some schools nearby

My daughter has been in the school for three years now. The programs are excellent, the teachers are good. The teachers work to bring every child on aboard not leaving anyone behind. And above all parent participation is amazing. This is a public school but run and managed like a private school. Kids are mostly well behaved. The curriculum could be challenging but if your kid is a rapid learner, this is a good place to provide educational activities and program to keep up and not slow them down.

One of the best kept secrets in Yonkers. Excellent and outstanding school. Faculty and other parents are one big loving family who help all students with love and affection for their future lives.Wide and diverse in offerings including computer,Spanish,music and living. Assistance for high school selections and the evidence of those having scholarships and acceptance into premier schools - both high school and college prove evident of the strong foundation instilled in the children.
